Welcome To The Madreporite Nexus This page provides a gateway to pages on a few of my interests. Why Madreporite Nexus? The madreporite (not shown on the starfish below!) is the only assymetrical external feature of the starfish (it looks like a differently-colored spot, just off-center on the upper surface). It's the only way we humans can tell which way a starfish is going, and if you care about how starfish find their way, that's important. So use the madreporite to find your way from here.
Starfish Science provides some information on my work with starfish, as well as more general information about starfish. Starfish Tales houses a few tidbits of starfish literature and related quotes that have turned up during my studies. Role-Playing Games includes a collection of Rolemaster resources, HARP resources, tutorials for mapping software, and links and pages related to local live-action role-playing games. You can also take the short-cut to the LARP material. The newly-founded Institute for Laser Pointer Studies reports the exciting results of our research into the use of laser pointers (as reported in the New Scientist, Aug 19, 2000). Finally, if you're wondering what kind of person would set up a page like this, check the About Me link. |
